V-613 departing RWY06 on an temporary set up airstrip on a farmers field. The high humidity after rainfall creating vortex around the prop.
Annualy, the pilots of the LT St 7 (Lufttransport Staffel 7) repeat to train the ability to land on unpaved and non-leveled areas.
And with the Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter STOL, the Swiss Air Force has the perfect aircraft for this task.

[Swipe Post] The Swiss Air Force has founded a new display team and is currently testing the new capabilities.
With the end of service of the F-5 Tiger by 2026 and the PC-7 MKII by 2031 (only six aircrafts will be upgraded to the MKX version to i.e. protect restricted airspace) that also means the end of the world famous Patrouille Suisse and PC-7 TEAM. A display team with the new F-35A fighter would be too expensive cost- and emission-wise. The Swiss government has decided to build up a ground breaking and innovative new display team: The “Swiss ADS15 Display Team” which will be the world’s first of its kind.
Currently, the drone operators are performing tests with the three delivered units (D11, D14, D16) together with the Patrouille Suisse and PC-7 TEAM. Here pictured you see the landing after a testflight in the sector “High Centre (and Above)” which combines the sectors “Schratten” and “Goms” in a very busy week of training.
On picture two you see the three-ship departure of the thre UAV’s.
By the end of 2026, all six Hermes 900HFE (Heavy Fuel Engine) will be delivered to Switzerland and are part of the new “SADS15DT”. By the end of 2032, another six units from a last minute order will be delivered to create a full display team of nine display aircrafts (as the PC7T), one observation unit and two spares. The main challenge until 2032 will be the frequency management, as there is currently not enough bandwidth in the spectrum for the 5GHz-G-Band for ten individual data, video and comm feeds. The BAKOM which is in charge of the National Frequency Allocation Plan is already doing investigations on how to solve it. One plan could be to use the armasuisse’s PC-12 HB-FOG as a relay station. As mentioned, everything is still in the early phase and could be changed.

Throwback to Colonel Oleksandr Oksanchenko 'Grey Wolf' from 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade
taxiing back with the SU-27 "58" after performing an amazing air display at Danish Airshow. He got retired in 2018 and in 2022 he returned to serve in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and was KIA by a Russian S-400 missile during the Battle of Kyiv on 25.02.2022 one day after the invasion begun. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Gold Star.

Yesterday the Super Puma Display Team displayed over Lake Lungern for the Seenachtsfest Lungern just minutes after the sun disappeared behind the mountains. T-342 was in the static display and T-332 in the air display piloted by 'Robin'and assisted by the new 2022 member 'Monte'.
The Highlight was of course the release of all the flares at once.
